Our team believes those serving in public office must be held accountable for spreading hate and misinformation. That’s why we filed a formal complaint with the State Bar of Michigan calling for an investigation and disciplinary action against Rep. Rashida Tlaib for antisemitic and discriminatory statements made in the wake of the Hamas-led attack on Israel on October 7, 2023. The complaint outlined how Tlaib’s public remarks, including her use of rhetoric long recognized as a call for the eradication of Israel, violate the Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct and call into question her character and fitness to practice law.
