Georgia Supreme Court Candidate Caught Skirting Financial Disclosure

Jen Jordan, candidate for Georgia Supreme Court, failed to file her mandatory Personal Financial Disclosure report by the state’s deadline, leaving voters without important financial information just weeks before Election Day. The Coolidge Reagan Foundation called on Jordan to immediately file the overdue disclosure and urged the Georgia Ethics Commission to hold her accountable. The other three candidates in contested Supreme Court races had filed their required reports. This was not Jordan’s first disclosure violation. During her 2022 campaign for Attorney General, she was penalized and reached a settlement for violating the same Personal Financial Disclosure requirements. Unfortunately, a change in Georgia law preventing the Ethics Commission from accepting complaints filed within 60 days of an election limited accountability before Election Day. The Coolidge Reagan Foundation called Jordan out for failing to comply with Georgia’s disclosure requirements and urged the Ethics Commission to hold her accountable.

NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani Forced to Return Foreign Donations

Between December 2024 and September 2025, NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani’s campaign accepted at least 161 contributions from foreign sources totaling more than $12,000. Donors listed addresses in Dubai, Australia, Turkey, France, Canada, Germany, and other countries, many with no verifiable employment information. Despite clear warnings, the campaign failed to stop the flow of illegal foreign money, revealing a sustained pattern of disregard for election integrity laws. We filed two formal referrals: a letter to the U.S. Department of Justice’s Public Integrity Section and a referral to Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg. Following our complaint and resulting scrutiny, the Mamdani campaign returned more than $9,000 in foreign donations. While this partial refund did not erase the violations, it demonstrated the power of public accountability and our ability to force corrective action through legal pressure. Former Congresswoman Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick Resigns in Disgrace After Defrauding Florida Taxpayers

The Coolidge Reagan Foundation filed an FEC complaint and a criminal referral to the Florida Attorney General against Rep. Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick for alleged fraud, embezzlement, and campaign finance violations. The FEC complaint detailed how Cherfilus-McCormick’s campaign accepted more than $150,000 in illegal, unreported in-kind contributions from the nonprofit Truth & Justice, Inc. The funds were used to cover printing and mailing costs her campaign could not afford, which is prohibited under federal law. The criminal referral outlined how Cherfilus-McCormick, as CEO of Trinity Healthcare Services, exploited a state payment error to divert nearly $5 million in taxpayer funds for personal use, funneling much of it into her campaign through entities she controlled.  Together, these filings exposed a pattern of corruption, calling for Cherfilus-McCormick to be held accountable for defrauding Florida taxpayers and federal election law. On April 21, 2026 Congresswoman Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick of Florida resigned from Congress, minutes before the House Ethics Committee was set to vote on potential expulsion. Complaints Against U.S. Rep. Jasmine Crockett Cite Suspicious Donations and Violent Rhetoric

From questionable social media posts to suspicious donations, Rep. Jasmine Crockett’s conduct demonstrated potential violations of the Voting Rights Act and federal campaign finance laws. Our Department of Justice (DOJ) complaint cited a video Crockett posted depicting cartoon versions of herself and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez violently attacking a Republican voter, which could be classified as voter intimidation under federal law. The Office of Congressional Ethics (OCE) complaint outlined a disturbing pattern of violent and inflammatory rhetoric, including Crockett’s public vow of “full-on combat” with the Trump administration’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE)—and connected that rhetoric to incidents of vandalism targeting Tesla vehicles. The Federal Election Commission (FEC) complaint exposed suspicious ActBlue donations to Crockett’s campaign, including numerous transactions allegedly made Complaints Against Rep. Jasmine Crockett (TX-30) Cite Suspicious Donations and Violent Rhetoric without the donors’ knowledge, raising serious questions about transparency and compliance with campaign finance rules. Complaints Against Democrat Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib of Michigan

Our team believes those serving in public office must be held accountable for spreading hate and misinformation. That’s why we filed a formal complaint with the State Bar of Michigan calling for an investigation and disciplinary action against Rep. Rashida Tlaib for antisemitic and discriminatory statements made in the wake of the Hamas-led attack on Israel on October 7, 2023. The complaint outlined how Tlaib’s public remarks, including her use of rhetoric long recognized as a call for the eradication of Israel, violate the Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct and call into question her character and fitness to practice law. The filing noted Tlaib’s censure by the U.S. House of Representatives for her repeated antisemitic statements and false accusations against Israel and the Biden administration, arguing that her behavior undermines the integrity of the legal profession. FEC Complaint Against New York Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez Cite Misuse of House

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez allegedly obtained a congressional email address for her boyfriend, Riley Roberts, even though he was not employed by her office. Our complaint made the case that this constitutes misuse of official House resources, violating ethics rules that restrict personal use of government services. This followed a previous complaint the foundation filed with the FEC, which alleged that Ocasio-Cortez’s campaign and an affiliated PAC funneled thousands of dollars in payments to Riley Roberts during the early stages of her campaign, potentially violating campaign finance laws prohibiting personal use of campaign funds. Together, the filings add to ongoing scrutiny of Ocasio-Cortez’s campaign and office operations, including separate allegations that her former chief of staff, Saikat Chakrabarti, used PACs and private companies to obscure nearly $1 million in campaign-related transfers.
